Pre-Record Store Day releases

With Record Store Day just a few days away, there are literally hundreds of special releases waiting to drop. Officially founded in 2007, Record Store Day is now bigger than ever with over 170 independents retailers participating.

Today some exquisite pre-releases have become available: watch out for the LCD Soundsystem cover of Franz Ferdinand or the brilliant collection released by Domino Recordings, including Arctic Monkeys, Wild Beasts, a collaboration of Charlotte Gainsbourg with The Villagers or a new track from Alex Taylor’s About Group.

Even the French boys from Ed Banger are releasing something very special. It’s called The Bee Sides Box set featuring five one-sided, etched 7"s of previously unreleased tracks from Justice, Sebastian, Breakbot ft Ruckzoid, Carte Blanche & Busy P.
