Arturia know a thing or two about packing analog punch into their instruments. The French company has made a name for themselves over the years thanks to its “Brute” line of synthesizers and drum machines. Arturia’s emphasis on crafting analog sounds with character and versatility has made their line of instruments a worthy feature of any music studio or live performance set-up.

Now, Arturia has unveiled the newest addition to the Brute family, the DrumBrute Impact. We tapped Martin Stimming to put this exciting new piece of analog gear through its paces. Featuring 10 analog drum sounds and an array of innovative features, there is plenty for Stimming to explore.
