This Luxury Hi-Fi Company Now Makes Audiophile Beer
Bang & Olufsen now has a beer.
B&O Play, the cheeky-sister company of Danish audio-visual manufacturer Bang & Olufsen, has just launched an IPA lager that’s actually been infused with music. To create the beer, the company submerged its own Beoplay A1 speakers into a fermenting tank to play a special playlist by DJ and radio host Le Gammeltoft. Apparently, the sonic vibrations of the speakers are the “fifth ingredient that takes the beer to a new level” by producing “more flavorful esters.” The beer was made in collaboration with the Mikkeller brewery. It should be available sometime this summer, and it’d probably go down well next to this New Order brew. Take a look below.
