Watch the world’s most beloved “techno marching band” rip through covers of Âme, Laurent Garnier and Dennis Ferrer.

Back in 2016, Hamburg’s brassy techno cover band MEUTE became a viral sensation thanks to their nuanced rendition of Âme’s track “Rej”. Since then, the self-coined “techno marching band” have continued to rework some of house and techno’s most iconic tracks into catchy brass covers, including Gonçalo’s “Mental Help” and Stephan Bodzin And Marc Romboy’s “Kerberos”.

Needless to say, a MEUTE live performance is as stimulating for the eyes as the ears, with over 10 performers crammed on stage, blasting out hypnotic percussion patterns and throbs of brass. So Electronic Beats jumped at the chance to capture the ensemble in full swing in Berlin at Festsaal Kreuzberg. In the video above, catch the MEUTE collective reworking Dennis Ferrer’s “Hey Hey”, Laurent Garnier’s “The Man With The Red Face” and their viral hit, “Rej” by Âme.
