Any casual fan of Telekom Electronic Beats knows that we have a soft spot for high-energy hardcore and gabber. That goes double for anything associated with New York avant-hardcore producer Kilbourne (who did that Blade soundtrack re-score we told you about). The New Yorker recently hosted Schirin, a Vienna-based DJ who we weren’t privvy to until just about now, on her show for Newcastle-based internet station Toxic Sickness.
Schirin‘s set is a brutal tour through early hardcore sounds with tracks by Marc Acardipane, Lunatic Asylum and Dr. Macabre (whose cut “Kill My Entire Ass” has one of the best titles we’ve seen in a while). Listen to the mix above.
