Western Tink is Hard To Keel

I first heard the name Western Tink in February, after a track called ‘Hittin Corners’ began circulating the blogs. What made this track stand out so much was that it was produced by Chris Greenspan, better known in witchy circles as oOoOO. Now Tink has dropped a new mixtape, Hard To Keel Vol. 1. As with the previous track (also featured here) it’s the beats that carry it, left-field productions that lend a heavy, sinister feel to Tink’s flow, which admittedly needs some work. But it’s that rawness combined with the excellent productions that make him stand out from other avant-hop figureheads. You be the judge, though: Tink’s offering the mixtape for download at the price of your choosing (yes, free as well) so hook yourself up.
