EB Video Premiere: Gary Beck – Algoreal

Gary Beck first came to prominence when Richie Hawtin picked up his track “Consumed” and released on his esteemed M_nus label. Starts don’t come much bigger than that, and he’s kept momentum going, releasing his brand of fat free techno on Soma, Drumcode and his own label Bek Audio. Today’s Video Premiere is Beck’s latest release for Scottish label Soma. A tunnelistic Berghain stomper that, beneath its cocaine-palpitation, nurses a suprisingly widescreen melody. The creepy video which accompanies it features sundry witchy happenings unfurling in its bucolic setting will do little to slow your heart rate.
