Electronic Beats presents New Order: Live in Berlin

We’re thrilled to announce that Electronic Beats will be presenting New Order in Berlin. The seminal group, whose influence and style has ranged from new wave and pop to post-punk and techno, has been absent from Germany’s stages for five years now, but on June 21st you can catch them at the Tempodrom.

Returning to the group for the first time since 2001 is original founding member and keyboardist Gillian Gilbert, whose vocals can also be heard on, amongst others, the group’s 1981 single ‘Procession’ and the 1983 single ‘Confusion’. Filling in for former bassist Peter Hook is worthy newcomer Tom Chapman. The group will be performing an extensive, career-sweeping Best Of set as well as resurrecting some of their favorite tracks from their previous incarnation as the godly Joy Division!

Exclusive content and excerpts from the concert will also be broadcast on ElectronicBeats.net, and New Order will be featured as the June cover story in Electronic Beats Magazine. Tickets are 36€ and are available here. We suspect they’re going to go fast, so we recommend picking one up as soon as possible. This is certainly one show you won’t want to miss!~
