Bratislava’s in for an epic night. After hitting the city with performances by Apparat Band, WhoMadeWho and Lamb last October, Electronic Beats Festival will be back with a vengeance on May 12th, in an exciting, ‘new’ venue. Refinery Gallery, located in the city’s industrial district, is a redesigned machinery hall of Slovakia’s foremost petroleum company, complete with a terrace on the building’s roof. Away from the posh clubs and back to the warehouses, new life waits.
The walls will be shaken by the blissed-out melodies of Friendly Fires, who will no doubt make the Slovak kids shake their hips. James Lavelle will be carrying on the torch of his previous musical endeavors as UNKLE Sounds in a brand new audio-visual show. Woodkid‘s unique chamber pop creations have already made waves throughout the social network wilderness, and now we get to experience his touching compositions IRL for the first time. Finally, nothing on Earth will stop The Asteroids Galaxy Tour from invading your headspace with their infectious psychedelic indie-pop.
Tickets are available here. Join us in raising a glass of borovi?ka, and let’s toast to future good times. See you real soon!
