Redshape, the German producer who is never to be seen without his red mask, is about to drop ‘Throw in Dirt’ on Martyn’s 3024 imprint. Paranoid, discordant machine funk that jitters and jerks we cannot decide whether we prefer the in your face chang of the title track or the more reserved, but still quite odd ‘Land’. The record is Redshape’s second outing for 3024 – he remixed Martyn’s ‘Seventy Four’ back in 2010 but this brace of technoid work-outs represents his first original material on the Dutch label. Take a listen below and don’t forget to take a look at our Slices features with Martyn and Redshape.
