French label InFiné will be re-editing and re-mastering a new version of the 2009 soundtrack La Sangre Illuminda penned by the brilliant Mexican ambient-tronica artist Murcof.
One of the brightest stars in the electronic world, Mexican producer Murcof aka Fernando Corona is a true architect, consistently creating dark and illuminating music.
Murcof released his debut Martes to worldwide acclaim in 2002 on Leaf, since then he has recorded for label Sutekh Context, collaborated with Erik Truffaz on Blue Note and worked under the associated act Nortec Collective.
The Mexican film La Sangre Illuminda was released in 2009 only on Intolerancia Records but is now being readied for a wider re-release on French label InFiné. However, the story of InFiné and Murcof goes back alot further, to 2007 when Murcof played piano on Francesco Tristano’s album Cosmos before they then both set off on a European tour as a duo.
