This week the guys from Danish fashion label Wood Wood presented their fabulous Autumn/Winter collection at the Fashion Week in Berlin. Actually it’s so good we forget about our dislike of the cold and cannot wait for next winter. Or the next trip to the U.K., because the style of British school uniforms obviously influenced the collection. Even the name of the collection – The Kingdome – hints at that. Karl Oskar and Brian combined this inspiration from Great Albion with their own interpretation of fashion and the result is a both mature and playful collection that is, unlike many others’, totally wearable.
Our highlights are definitely the camouflage coat, a print that are already a Wood Wood classic and nearly all the knitted cloths, that will keep us warm as soon as the first snow falls. If you’ve missed the show in Berlin, you have the chance to catch it again next week in Copenhagen.
A ????? is usually a marketplace in a country where the heat is unbearable and you can get lost in sandstorms like the one in MI:4 (which by the way might be the most stupid movie this year). So in this case I guess the only similarity to a real bazaar is the trading goods thing, which is quite something.
Used to the cold Danish designers like Wood Wood sell of their beautiful sweaters as well as young actress Mavie Hörbiger and infamous über-stylists Billie&Flo. American Apparel will be there too, you will find a room full of the limited APC & Carhartt collabo and many, many more. So if you don’t find a Christmas gift for your friends and yourself there, you won’t get it anywhere.

Wolfram Eckert aka Wolfram, formally Marflow and Diskokaine, is Austria’s biggest export when it comes to disco-trash or euro music. If you need proof just take a look at his debut album’s which is packed with all kinds of sleazy superstars like Hercules & Love Affair, Haddaway and Holy Ghost!
Right now Wolfram is touring the world but he has managed to find the time to squeeze in an an hour long mix for Danish fashion label Wood Wood and their the Muzak mix series. Wolfram calls it “slowed down hypno-disco music” from the great era of disco of over 30 years ago. “Slow” hits the nail on the head. The mix is like a disco soundtrack for sipping cough syrup. Check it out here, it’s free.
