The native Bulgarian, born Strahil Velchev, gave us a close-up view into his home life and studio in Sofia, which happens to be located in his mother’s house. With a heavy touring schedule and constant stream of releases on labels like Macro, Rush Hour and Running Back, plus remixes for the likes of Matthew Dear, Deetron and Nina Kraviz, it’s hard to know how he found the time—not that we’re complaining. A favourite of both the punters on the dance floor and those controlling it, this lover of technology continues to take risks through his booming productions and hybrid live set-up.
