Starting with this edition, Videodrome will be a monthly feature grabbing the ten (or more) new music videos worthy of your attention. But that’s just the beginning—you saw our inaugural EB DOSSIER on Marijuana, right? Yes, we’re going to unveil are some exciting changes around here. #1 Eric Copeland – “Cheap Treat”, directed by Aaron Warren

Eric Copeland (of Black Dice) blew me away with his solo set back in September. Here’s his latest video teasing his new solo record, Limbo, out June 5th through Underwater Peoples.

#2 Danny Brown feat. Purity Ring – “25 Bucks”, directed by Norton

Detroit rap iconoclast Danny Brown as per usual.

#3 Lakker – “Thermohaline”

Irish duo Lakker bring some deep, experimental techno via R&S. Taken from their EP Containing a Thousand, released last month.

#4 Marissa Nadler – “Drive”, directed by Naomi Yang

#5 Sun Araw – “Solo Wallet Shuffle”, directed by Matthew Lessner

NYC group Ratking consists of two emcees (Wiki & Hak) and a producer (Sporting Life). They have a new video joint out there and it’s dope, as those familiar with their world might expect.

#7 Tim Burgess – “Oh Men”, directed by Dan Tombs

If you’re into transcendental meditation, you’ll love this video from Tim Burgess—also known as the lead singer from the Charlatans.

#8 SZA ft Isaiah Rashad – “Warm Winds”, Directed by SZA & APLUS FILMZ

Lovely and mellow. That what the new a/v dispatch from SZA featuring Isaiah Rashad is. Surreal + beautiful = a perfect match.

#9 Carisma – “Que Linda tu Pradera”, directed by Marinha Villalobos

#10 Ski Patrol – “Agent Orange”, direcetd by Emmanuella Zachariou

No idea who directed this excellent video, which came out recently to coincide with the release of a compilation. If anyone has a clue, let me know.

#11 Todd Terje – “Leisure Suit Preben”, Directed by Espen Friberg & Emil Høgset
