Emeralds, Shabazz Palaces and Peaches to play at Prague’s Stimul Festival

Stimul festival, as its name implies, has become the premier outpost for experimental music that arouses the mind, the body and the soul. Over the course of its rapturous existence, Stimul has brought the likes of Oneohtrix Point Never, Nurse With Wound, Animal Collective and Anti-Pop Consortium to Prague staying faithful to its uncompromising and adventurous programming.

The ’11 autumn installment of the twice-yearly showcase of the best alternative music has got to offer these days features a typically eclectic line-up: American synthwave/hypnagogic pop courtesy of the purveyors of analogue sonispheres Emeralds, leftfield hip hop by Sub Pop’s unimitable Shabazz Palaces, Icelandic niceness from Hildur Gudnadóttir and general crazyness from the first lady of electro/trash Peaches.
