Recently, fashion videos have proven to be usefull as viral tools for brands. However the form can also be a creative expression for the artist. Hungarian Fashion Video Festival aims to explore the connections between fashion and digital media to induce creative forces and start conversations.
Gaining widespread attention from the mainstream media in Hungary the video competition began with a bang last year. Now the second installment is set to return between 22nd and 26th of November 2011, showcasing the country’s most talented artists.
This year’s keyword is ‘Power Power Power’ – the name of the production company behind the festival that gives the first prize – a sponsorsed promotion programme. The schedule includes workshops, photo exhibitions and a Japanese Charity Day besides various screenings.
The international jury consists of industry insiders like Harry Weiler from London-based avant-garde designer platform and online store Not Just A Label and fashion film pioneer Jason Last alongside returning artists Adia Trischler and Andreas Waldschütz.
The Fashion Video Festival takes place between 22nd and 26th of November 2011 in Design Terminal, Budapest. You can find the more info here.
