Is Tropical

Is Tropical are a four piece group from England that formed in London in 2009. The band consists of Simon Milner, Gary Barber, Dominic Apa and Kirstie Fleck. Their debut single, “When O’ When” was produced by AI AI AI and released by Hit Club Records in 2010. Soon after they signed to French label Kitsuné, where they recorded two full-length studio albums. Their LP debut was Native To in 2011. It produced the viral hit “The Greeks”, which achieved critical acclaim. The follow up, Flags, was the culmination of extensive global travels. It featured a full roster of collaborators. Their second studio album I’m Leaving was released in May 2013, also on Kitsuné. In 2014 Is Tropical signed to New York based independent label Axis Mundi.
