UPDATE: This competition is now closed.

On Tuesday, March 4th, Goldfrapp presents a very special cinema event—a worldwide screening of the stunning film Tales of Us followed immediately by an exclusive dramatic live Goldfrapp performance transmitted into cinemas from the legendary Air Studios in London. And we’ve got tickets for cinemas all over Germany.

Inspired by Goldfrapp’s latest album, Tales of Us, the striking film is a thirty-minute journey through five of the individual stories featured on the album. Stranger, Laurel, Jo, Drew and Annabel interconnect subtly, sharing themes of love, loss, madness and identity, taking the viewer on a unique musical journey.

With only two stories having been seen previously, this is an exclusive opportunity to see the film Tales of Us as it was intended, as a complete journey and on the cinematic big screen, available in select locations for one night only. Cinema audiences will see the Tales of Us film transition beautifully into a live 50-minute dramatic theatrical performance by Goldfrapp including classic songs and selections from the new album.

We’re giving away a pair of tickets to each of the locations in Germany and Austria mentioned below. To win, all you need to do is leave a comment in our Facebook post about the event with your location of choice. Winners will be notified on Monday, March 3rd. The film begins at each cinema on Tuesday, March 4th at 8:30pm.

Win tickets to see Scooter live and watch an exclusive teaser video

**UPDATE: Winners have been chosen and notified. Unsuccessful? You can still watch the concert as it happens via our live stream—full details here**

It’s hard to believe, but Scooter have been fantastically popular in their homeland of Germany and abroad for 20 years now. We’re certainly no stranger to either their hardcore techno or frontman H.P. Baxxter‘s wry sense of humor; both of which make seeing the group (a trio comprised of Baxxter, Michael Simon and Rick J. Jordan) live a pleasure beyond nostalgia, even after all these years. That’s why Electronic Beats and Telekom are proud to present an exclusive 20th anniversary performance of Scooter, live before a limited-capacity crowd in their home town of Hamburg, Germany, at Uebel & Gefährlich on December 5th.

For everyone unable to attend the show, we’ll be providing a live video stream of Scooter’s Hamburg performance here at on December 5th.

How do you buy tickets, you ask? The answer is that you can’t. Sorry. You can, however, win them. How, you ask? Simple, by answering our question:

On what floor is the Uebel & Gefährlich club? 1st floor? 4th floor or 7th floor?

Simply fill out your information and the answer and you’ll qualify to be selected as one of the audience. Come on, move your ass—this one’s gonna fill up fast!

This special event takes place in a small venue, so for anyone who doesn’t win, you’ll have the opportunity to catch Scooter on their German tour in 2014 (dates below). And all Scooter fans should know that our very own Editor-in-Chief, Max Dax, has collaborated with the band to bring you the book, Scooter: Always Hardcore, published on November 18th.

Win a pair of tickets to Poland’s Tauron Nowa Muzyka festival

UPDATE: This competition is now closed.

Poland’s festival scene seems to be leading the charge when it comes to interesting electronic music line-ups, and we’re not just saying that because the EB Festival is apt to make the odd trip across the border. One of the hottest European tickets for summer 2013 is Tauron Nowa Muzyka, a small festival with a pioneering attitude to electronic music. Taking place across August 22-25th in a disused coal mine in Katowice, part of the Upper Silesia Region of Poland, it boasts a number of mouthwatering prospects for your not-so-average discerning music fan. Our picks include a Numbers label showcase with Jackmaster, SOPHIE, Redinho, Deadboy and special guest Syrian star Omar Souleyman, a 20th Anniversary showcase from the evergreen German label Kompakt, plus those who like their music perched on the cutting edge might want to look up the new band on the up London Grammar, brush up their vogue moves for Zebra Katz and Njena Reddd Foxxx, feel the burn with heavy dub techno upstart Darling Farah or get cerebral with RVNG International’s Holly Herndon. Other artists on the diverse bill include Vladislav Delay, LFO, Venetian Snares, Squarepusher, JETS (that’s Jimmy Edgar and Travis Stewart’s collaborative baby), Jon Hopkins, Adrian Sherwood and Darkstar.

We wouldn’t talk all this up without giving you an opportunity to attend for free, so we’re giving away one pair of tickets for Friday and Saturday, which is when the main part of the festival takes place, plus camping. Travel, however, is not included.

All you have to do is sign up to our newsletter before 11:59 CET on Sunday July 14th—don’t forget to write “TNM” in the Festival field below so we know you want to be considered for this competition. We’ll notify the winner by email the next day.

For more information and tickets, head to the TNM website here.
