The not so new any more UK Bass/House happy fest Danceteria is back with English producer Drop/Dead.
It’s Jay Donaldson’s first visit to Vienna, which is not much of a miracle since he started making music as Drop/Dead only two years ago. Since then he became one of the most promising new producers in old Albion, and like most other artists, who make interesting music, it’s hard to define his genre: He transcendences somewhere between techno and house, dubstep and RnB.
In other news: there is a new resident DJ along with old-established Mr. Ho at Danceteria. His name is Yannick Kurzweil aka Jay Smoo, he comes from Grazer crew Disko404 and he gives you what his name promises: a lot of kurzweil (German for amusement).

Klasse is a Berlin based house label influenced in cycling, minimalist design and the relationship between man, machine and quality house music. Formed up by Mr Ho, Luca Lozano and Daniel Zedelmair of Jackmode agency, the trio have blessed the label with a crystal clear image and identity from the start. With releases by Turmspringer and Sacha Robotti in the back catalogue, they are just about to to relase their first compilation and to celebrate they are giving away a free track to Electronic Beats readers – Mr Ho’s edit of the Isley Brothers – ‘Between The Sheets’.
