This Will Destroy You celebrate delirium with ‘Black Dunes’

We don’t often get a chance to talk about post-rock on here, but this is definitely something you should be paying attention to. This Will Destroy You, the Texas quartet whose heavy, doomgazey 2011 album Tunnel Blanket soundtracked the early days of our summer, have just premiered a new video. ‘Black Dunes’ is taken from the aforementioned album and tells the tale of a young woman’s broken mind, winding out behind her in gossamer threads of clarity. Directed by Malcolm Elijah Welbourne (who you might also know as the director of our favorite Pure X video), it’s haunting and beautiful, and one you shouldn’t miss. Stream it below.
