Jamie Lidell, Tim Exile, Shiftee, Jeremy Ellis and Mr Jimmy make up the unorthodox electronic supergroup, Mostly Robot. The concept was brainstormed into being by the bright sparks at Native Instruments and, as you might expect, pivots on a hefty hardware setup which pushes at the boundaries of what is achievable in a live performance.
While it’s a fairly new incarnation, with their first performance taking place at Sonar-by-Day in summer 2012, they are already receiving critical plaudits, perhaps not surprising considering the collective brain (and tech) power behind them. They’ll be playing the Budapest edition of the Electronic Beats Festival on September 13th, 2012.
