Adrian Sherwood

Artist on Electronic beats

The legendary Adrian Sherwood made his name championing the heavier end of dub music via various UK labels, most famously his On-U Sound imprint, which began in 1980.
However, the label’s tastes would broaden out over the years to include the more experimental end of post punk. Sherwood also undertook a string of remixing and production gigs from bands including Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Pop Will East Itself and Einstürzende Neubauten .
Still extremely active as a solo artist, Sherwood will be releasing his third album Survival and Resistance in August 2012. You can hear an exclusive mixture that he did for us, featuring tracks from the new album, below. Photo: Luci Lux
