Germans Are Buying 40% More Vinyl Than Last Year

The 2016 figures smashed all projections. 

It turns out the incredible 2016 vinyl boom has not just been a US and UK market phenomenon. In new figures published by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI), Germany recorded a startling 40.1% increase in vinyl sales last year. Music streaming also posted extraordinary figures, multiplying by 72.7%. The losers in this growth?
