Chromapark was the most ambitious project to come out of the Ewerk crew. The first major exhibition to feature art influenced and related to the rising techno scene, it featured a variety of multi-media exhibits including installations, fashion shows, flyer art, visual art, and projections—”art that grows out of the night”, as organizer Ralf Regitz was quoted saying. The excitement and magic of the swiftly-growing scene can be felt in the above MTV video, circa 1994, which features Regitz (who was also an integral figure in the infamous Love Parade) and fellow organizer Elsa 4 Toys, whose banners and installations were an integral part of the ’90s Berlin club scene.
