The 1990s were a time when everything was possible. Music labels were still turning hefty profits. Artists got contracts and some even achieved millionaire status through their record sales. Now, someone has assembled an 800-track playlist on Spotify to praise those glory days, and it’s fantastic—from teenage anthem-makers like The Chills, Butthole Surfers and Fugazi to pop wonders like Mariah Carey and, ah, Death In June, it’s wildly varied but all quality.
