What piece of gear are you planning of buying next? A drum machine? A new module?
Well you can forget all those plans, because after seeing this footage from some of Arca‘s latest performances, what you’re really going to want is a 9-foot feedback pole.
Arca teamed up with instrument builders Landscape to make this massive touch plate-controlled feedback stripper pole at the recent DAU Festival at Théâtre de la Ville in Paris. Accompanied by a pianist in a 30-feet deep pit, Arca is seen spinning, caressing and drumming on the huge sound sculpture.
All you need now is a studio big enough to fit your own. Check out footage from the performances below.
