These Beautiful Mandalas Were Made From Birdsong
You’ve heard birds sing, but have you seen what their songs look like?
Sometimes you find something that’s so beautiful that you just have to stare at it all day. That’s certainly the case with these amazing mandalas made by South Korean design student Sukgo. Using a CymaScope—a special instrument for converting sound into visual information—the artists was able to render the various calls of wild birds into stunning and meditative images that resemble some kind of beautiful flower or tripped-out floating spore.
