Earlier this week, we reported that Kraftwerk’s Buenos Aires gig had been cancelled due to an electronic music ban put in place following a string of tragic deaths at Time Warp Argentina. Thankfully, Argentina’s Asociación Civil de Música Electrónica has just announced on Facebook that the show will go on. The city initially refused to give the concert promoters a required permit citing the city-wide electronic music ban. The promoters appealed that decision successfully in court. The end result is that Kraftwerk will get to play. And, hopefully, this will push for a reform of the ban itself.
If you speak Spanish you can read more about the ruling here.
