A Cheap Synth You Can Build As Easily As Ikea Furniture
You can assemble Modal Electronics’ cheap CRAFTsynth in just 10 minutes.
Following a wave of affordable turntables at discount supermarkets Lidl and Aldi comes a cheap new build-it-yourself synthesizer from Modal Electronics. For £79.99, you can own a monophonic CRAFTsynth that packs a lot of power for its small size.
One of this synth’s key selling points is its modular construction, which allows a user with little or no technical knowledge to assemble it in about 10 minutes. The CRAFTsynth will be available via Gear4Music in mid-December, and the CRAFTapp, which will allow users to manage the onboard memory, will follow by the end of the year.
