This Dance Piece Shines A Light On Mass Surveillance
Authority Figure, a new immersive, interactive dance choreography including a cast of over 150 performers is premiering in Brooklyn, New York between May 20th and May 22nd. It’s concept? A piercing investigation into modes of power and obedience on the body and by the body in modern technologized society. Spectators will be invited to walk through the performances themselves, which also include 7 installations and artists like Pictureplane, Dan Deacon, Dev Hynes and Eartheater credited as musicians.
