Daniel Wang is really excited about sharing music—and he should be.

Drawing on his decades of knowledge, the Berlin-based DJ is a walking musical encyclopaedia. In the latest episode of our YouTube channel’s “B-Sides” video series, Wang shows us five of his favorite tracks while diving deep into what makes each song so special.

Highlighting the lesser-known tracks of some of the disco era’s biggest artists, Wang also explains the importance of the B-side as a format and how it gave otherwise commercially-minded artists a place to express stranger, less radio-friendly sides of their creativity.
