Remember when techno was on TV?
Back in the ’90s, German TV station VIVA used to have a program called Berlin House that covered happenings within the global house and techno scene. We’d almost forgotten about it, but fortunately a tipster sent us this hour-long block of programming that features none other than Frankfurt hero Sven Väth talking about the closure of that city’s legendary club, Omen.
It’s entirely in German, but it’s worth a watch even if you don’t understand the language because it features some delightfully nostalgic music videos for ’90s classics by the likes of Plastikman. Check it out below.
