The Fanboy Memoirs captures how it felt to be a superfan of some of the most iconic artists of the ’90s like Cat Power and Magnetic Fields.

Zines have always provided a way for private, sincere, bizarre and even sometimes perverse thoughts to find their way into print.  These old-school-style publications were distributed to fellow weirdos well outside the limelight of the mainstream.

The Fanboy Memoirs follows Kevin Alvir taking a walk through his memories and encountering some pretty cool musicians from his younger years as a music obsessive. If only our memories were so clear…
