Back in the mid 80s, Hamburg’s Front club was one of the first house clubs in Germany. Resident DJs Klaus Stockhausen and, later, Boris Dlugosch played weekend after weekend to an ecstatic and predominantly gay crowd. In 1992, nine year’s after the club’s opening in 1983, they invited their first ever guest dj. The guest was none other than “Godfather of house” Frankie Knuckles. His smooth selection of classic, vocal-heavy and soulful house is the perfect way to start the weekend.
