Last month, esteemed UK producer and Eglo label head Floating Points (a.k.a. Sam Shepherd) gave word of a forthcoming debut album, Elaenia. Taking influence from classical, jazz, soul, and Brazilian popular music, the LP was reportedly five years in the making and will see an official release on November 6 via Luaka Bop/Pluto. A video for LP cut “Silhouettes” began making the rounds at the time of Shepherd’s announcement, and now, album single “Nespole” is streaming here in full.
