AquaSonic is a collaboration between Danish musicians Laila Skovmand and Robert Karlsson. They submerge five performers in glass water tanks on stage and let them play custom built instruments. Sonically, this setup takes you on an eerie journey through submerged melodies and powerfully resonant sounds—sounds quite unusual in the above sea-level performances we corrupted land-standers are used to. Respect to the #seapunk crew for keeping it #wet.

For a more theoretical underwater sound experience,  check out the first recordings from Drexciya’s James Stinson here.
