Unfortunately, being a touring artist or band means that sometimes you come back to your van and find that some asshole has jacked all your stuff. Altpress recently posted a good suggestion: place GPS trackers from companies like Spy Tec and Dewalt in your van and equipment cases, allowing you to know if your vehicle has been broken in to or your gear stolen and then sending out a signal to easily track thieves. This works for sticky-fingered backstage prowlers as well; we suggest placing it directly inside your actual equipment, making it basically undetectable.
