Listen To A Single From The xx's Just Announced New LP

The xx are back.

After a significant amount of teasing, UK outfit The xx has announced the release of its third studio album, I See You. The LP marks a return for the band following 2012’s widely acclaimed Coexist. To promote the album, they’ve also just dropped the first single in, “On Hold”, a sonic departure that samples Hall & Oates’ ’80s pop classic “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)”. We assume that the record will follow suit.

The LP will be released on January 13, 2017 in a number of formats: digital, standard vinyl, limited edition vinyl and also as a box set. The group will also begin touring in support of the record starting this month—they will perform live and chat about the record on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show tonight at 7PM GMT.
