One of the quirkiest tracks on Singularity, the new album by New Order, is definitely “Tutti Frutti”. Not just because of its title—which Arthur Baker made more than one joke about at EB’s recent Q&A between him and the legendary Mancunian band—but because of its very obvious italo disco influence. Now, Hot Chip, who know a thing or two about being quirky, remixed “Tutti Frutti” into a nearly 12-minute track. Yowza.
