The announcement that Grace Jones will headline our upcoming Electronic Beats Festival in Cologne might have been major, but the legendary diva isn’t the only talented addition to the line-up. For our upcoming blowout, EB Festival favorite Roosevelt returns with his signature blend of colorful synths and live vocals and instrumentals, and German selectors Hans Nieswandt and Shumi join American house icon Kerri Chandler.
We’re also joining forces with JackWho and SpokenWordClub, a local incubator for comedy, cabaret, dance, slam poetry, live music and DJ sets. And we’ve partnered with VOID, one of the freshest new parties in Cologne, for a night featuring Rekids label boss Radio Slave, Ramon Tapia, Brazilian producer Wehbba, local heroes Bryan Kessler, Antipolar and Ben Tauber and VOID founders Alex New and Björn Grimm.
Lastly, we’re also planning a free live show with Honne, a British electronic-soul duo. Day, time and location of this exclusive event are still secret and will be announced on the day. For a shot at entry, RSVP to the Facebook event. We predict that space will be limited, so come early!
