Directed by Robert Fantinatto, the new documentary travels across the history of electronic music with the people who helped build it—legends like Trent Reznor, Gary Numan, and Vince Clarke as well as modern machinists Carl Craig, James Holden, and Legowelt. “Hell yes”, basically.

“I Dream Of Wires” is set to premiere July 28th in Berlin and will feature a performance by legendary composer Morton Subtonick, creator of the very first electronic work commissioned by a record company, as well as a discussion moderated by digital hardcore dissident Alec Empire.
