Pioneer has introduced a new media player, the XDJ-700, which looks and functions like a CDJ but only plays digital files from a USB, smartphone or computer. FACT reports that the company is marketing the XDJ-700 as one of its “most compact standalone media players yet, with the additional benefits of a touchscreen and removable stand.” At €699, the the XDJ-700 is also more affordable than many competitors, and is fully compatible with Pioneer’s Rekordbox software. Watch a demo video here.
