Giegling mainstay Edward has reworked a pair of early tracks from pioneering krautrock and kosmische band Harmonia. Ahead of the arrival of Edward Versions, German imprint Die Orakel has sent over a video for a-side opener “Atmosphere.” The track was committed to tape alongside ambient specialist Brian Eno in 1976, but was lost for over 20 years, only seeing an official release in 1997. Edward’s “Desert Version” subtly alludes to the dancefloor while retaining the original’s spaced-out, soporific qualities. Watch the video by Stefan Haag—which features VHS-era color kaleidiscopes—here, before Edward Versions drops in vinyl form later this month.
