David Bowie‘s favorite portrait was reportedly shot by Gavin Evans. The Berlin-based photographer is well known for his uncompromising images, and managed to convince legends like Morrissey, Nick Cave and Iggy Pop to get before his lens. In “The Session,” he offers an intimate portrayal of Bowie as the man behind the mask. The exhibition will be on view at The Institute, Evans’ gallery and arts space and gallery at Holzmarkt in Berlin, from February 20 onwards.
