The Remidi T8 is a wearable MIDI instrument that turns your bracelet and glove-clad hand into a musical instrument. The company behind the invention just successfully completed a Kickstarter campaign that raised about $140,000 to turn the futuristic device into reality. The glove has sensors in the fingers and palms to trigger sounds, and an additional wrist controller syncs effects with hand gestures. Judging from the above video, the T8 looks like an intuitive way to create sounds. For more weird MIDI, check out this knitted interface or this interface that’s controlled by light.
