We have the exclusive premiere of a sick, acid-infected and moody remix of Luciano’s “The Great Amael” helmed by Seth Troxler and Phil Moffa. Hear it here.
Tech house and minimal giant Luciano has revisited his 2014 single “The Great Amael” and prepped a remix package that’s due out in October. He certainly brought in the big guns for this EP; the a-side features a new version of Luciano’s uplifting jam crafted by Matthew Dear’s Audion project and a contribution from tech house firebrand Seth Troxler in conjunction with Phil Moffa, a somewhat more underground but no less respected producer. The latter reinterprets “The Great Amael” as a dark, simmering bouncer with a bobbing momentum and a tinge of acidic grit, and you can stream it here ahead of other outlets and its official release in October.
