What did life in Berlin really look like shortly following the fall of the Wall? This short film from Hannes Stoehr, which was shared by German producer Tanith, provides a small window. Stoehr, who went on to direct Berlin Calling, shot the footage back when the city was undergoing heavy development and change. The soundtrack from Housemeister, who released some amazing stuff on 50 Weapons (RIP), is an early chiptune banger and stands in stark contrast to the video’s grainy black-and-white aesthetic.
