Have you ever had a problem expressing yourself? This interactive sculpture might be able to help.
2ch is an interactive sculpture made by Russian media-artist vtol that uses EEG headsets to visualize your brainwaves as sound and motion. It has fans, a mess of cables, screens and strange robotic arms that all react to live data from the headset. Two people can use it at once, which could lead to a kind of mind meld. According to the work’s designer, “Two participants should try to synchronize their minds, guided by the pitch of the tone, visualization and movements of mechanical parts.” Sounds pretty nuts to us.
