Anthony Child AKA Surgeon has recorded an album on Hawaiian island Maui for Editions Mego. According to the label, the Birmingham techno veteran’s Electronic Recordings from Maui Jungle Vol. 1 is an “exercise in concentration and trance,” in which “Birds, insects and raindrops are allowed to break through” and listeners “can sense the thick, humid air and deep colors of the surroundings.” Before the album lands on November 13, stream “All Around and Inside” here.
