Ten Walls stormed social media this June by posting a virulent homophobic rant that sparked a huge controversy and left most of his fans disappointed. After being ditched by major festivals and collaborators, Ten Walls posted a public apology. Now the Lithuanian producer proceeds further down his road to atonement by releasing a new free track today via LGL, an organization representing Lithuania’s LGBTI community. The track, called “Shining”, features transgender singer Alex Radford on vocals.
We’re still on the fence: while it’s unfair to permanently categorize someone, this feels a bit more like a PR maneuver than a true act of contrition—and the release appearing right after World AIDS Day does set that PR sensor bleeping. Check for yourself on the LGL website.
Curious about Lithuanian artists who aren’t Ten Walls? We have a guide for that.
